'I wanted to see if training at the gym would help my climbing and mountain biking - and it has'

Thinking back, what was the problem you needed to solve when you contacted Craig?

I had no experience in a gym, and not knowing what machines or exercises to use, I didn't want to waste my time or gym membership guessing.

I also wanted to see if I could improve my mountain biking and climbing by adding gym fitness to my training.


What do you feel you’ve achieved during your time working with Craig?

I have seen a large gain in my strength, especially in the areas I have mentioned working on with Craig prior to starting.

This has translated into my personal sports.

I think that training with Craig bridges the gaps in my sports when I am unable to do them.


What’s different in your life today compared to before you started working with Craig?

I like how my body has changed and I feel more confident in my mountain biking and climbing.

I am healthier with food and drink and want to keep improving. 

Craig really motivates me, but never pushes too hard, this keeps it fun and positive.


If you had to pick one thing, what would be your highlight so far? Which thing are you most pleased about?

I feel really proud when working up through the weights compared to where I started.

I was originally happy with my body appearance, but really like the changes that have naturally happened from training.


How has Craig helped you solve your problem? What do you particularly like about his approach and delivery?

I wanted to see if training at the gym would help my climbing and mountain biking, as I started to compete in these - and it has. 

I love working with Craig and if I have a question, I don't have to go online and potentially get the wrong answers.

It is really valuable to me and my time to know Craig is an experienced professional who can answer my questions with my body in mind.

Craig is really patient and friendly, taking time to work through anything you need to, including injuries.

If I am unsure about anything on my workout plan or technique, Craig always finds time to offer advice, even if it is not my planned day.

What are your health and fitness goals from this point onwards? Are they any different from before you started working with Craig?

I would like to continue to progress with my strength and endurance, especially through winter.

Hopefully taking me into next summer with a good level of fitness for outdoor sports.


If someone was to ask you your thoughts about working with Craig, what would you say?

I would recommend Craig to anybody wanting to use their time doing the right thing for them at the gym. 

Craig can guide you in technique and at the right fitness level to you.

You will be sure that you are not doing something wrong for years and that everything is for the reason you want.
