After completing the Great North Run in a stop and start fashion in humid conditions, I lost my mojo for running.
I wasn’t getting any quicker and, more often than not, I either wasn’t running or was running very slowly.
I wanted Craig to help me improve my running speed and half marathon PB.
In the last two months, I’ve completed my fastest half marathon in a hilly and warm Torremolinos and ran my fastest park run.
I’ve now completed 119 park runs in nearly five years! I also ran my fastest PB at my ‘hilly’ home park run and ran a ten-mile race, 11 minutes faster than last year.
I couldn’t have done any of this without Craig’s encouragement and professionalism.
My achievements have been recognised by my running club and I’m very pleased to have been awarded runner of the month.
As a result of working with Craig, I no longer need to visit my physiotherapist as much and she has noticed that my flexibility has greatly improved.
I have also just achieved my longest running challenge ever by completing Coniston 14.
These achievements have also been recognised by my running club and I am exceedingly pleased to have been awarded runner of the month.
Craig is always very approachable. He listens and is interested in the feedback from my physiotherapist too.
Craig wants to help me get the most out of my time in the gym and can see when an exercise needs tweaking in my programme to get me better results.
He recommended that I complete one session a week with him and one session on my own, alongside my Pilates, running and yoga.
Craig always has a smile and encourages and congratulates me.
He has empowered me to enjoy running again! When exercising and running, my endorphins feel like they’re climbing on each other’s shoulders and jumping up and down.
These endorphins give me a feel-good factor and are good for improving my mental health. Working with Craig has helped me achieve very good mental and physical health.
