‘I work out in the gym regularly now; it's part of my weekly fitness plan’

Thinking back, what was the problem you needed to solve when you contacted Craig?

I knew that working with weights could help my fitness goals but I couldn't motivate myself to exercise on my own in the gym.

I needed help to get me going regularly and keep me going.


What do you feel you’ve achieved during your time working with Craig?

I work out in the gym regularly now; it's part of my weekly fitness plan.

I like the different programmes Craig gives me and I'm never bored. 


What’s different in your life today compared to before you started working with Craig?

I'm fitter, stronger, slimmer and feel happy and confident.

I've lost 2% of my body fat. My tennis has improved and I feel good about life.


If you had to pick one thing, what would be your highlight so far? Which thing are you most pleased about?

I play tennis (doubles) for a local club and my performance has improved because I'm stronger and more agile.

I'm winning more matches.


How has Craig helped you solve your problem? What do you particularly like about his approach and delivery?

I was approaching 60 and needed some guidance to work around pre-existing health issues.

I have osteoarthritis in my knees and had an arthroscopy 18 months ago. Craig gave me specific exercises to strengthen my knees and glutes and each programme steadily builds on the last, so you improve without even realising it.

I’m able to do squats and lunges now, which were out of the question when I started.


What are your health and fitness goals from this point onwards? Are they any different to before you started working with Craig?

I want to keep improving my tennis, so I need to stay strong and fit.

I aim to stay as fit as possible as I get older. 


If someone was to ask you your thoughts about working with Craig, what would you say?

Craig is such a lovely guy; he makes me smile, even at 7.30am!

I value his knowledge and trust his judgement. His programmes have been spot on for my particular requirements. I've sustained injuries at tennis and Craig has tweaked my programmes to help me keep training in the gym, whilst recovering under medical supervision.

He’s kind and really listens to you, then makes adjustments to help you get the most out of your workouts.
